He was a member of the board when the company was first established and took on the role of GM at the end of the first year of the company’s operations. He worked there for six years. He then received funding from the Victoria Ministry for the Arts and the Australia Council to study for two years’ full time at Monash University for an MBA. The key argument for funding was that he would develop sustainable business models for arts organisations.
